Navami Maha Lakshmi Vratam (నవమి మహా లక్ష్మి వ్రతం) is a special ritual dedicated to Goddess Maha Lakshmi, the deity of wealth, fortune, and prosperity in Hinduism. The term ‘Navami’ refers to the ninth day of the lunar fortnight in the Hindu calendar, and ‘Vratam’ is a religious observance involving fasting and prayer.
