Description
Shukla Ekadasi Sudarshana Homam (శుక్ల ఏకాదశి సుదర్శన హోమం) is a special fire ritual performed on the Ekadasi day (the eleventh day) of the Shukla Paksha (waxing phase of the moon) in the Hindu lunar calendar. This Homam is dedicated to Lord Sudarshana, the divine discus weapon of Lord Vishnu.
The Sudarshana Homam involves the invocation of Lord Sudarshana through the chanting of specific mantras and making offerings into a consecrated fire. The Sudarshana Chakra is revered as a powerful spiritual symbol that can cut through ignorance and negativity, and bring enlightenment and positive energy.
When performed on the auspicious day of Shukla Ekadasi, it’s believed that the Sudarshana Homam can yield intensified results. It’s thought to bring protection from enemies and negative forces, remove obstacles and negativities, enhance spiritual growth, and bestow prosperity, success, and divine blessings upon the devotees.
